Wilderness North is seeking <b>a mature couple to act as Manager/Head Housekeeper</b> of one of our remote fly-in lodges.

If you are a positive, outgoing, and motivated couple with a passion for the outdoors, a great work ethic, and eager to work in a remote tourism environment, then this is an opportunity for you. Lodge Managers are responsible for providing an outstanding level of hospitality for our guests, maintaining the smooth operation of lodge facilities. Lodge Managers must be well groomed, professional, and courteous. This position requires initiative, creativity, and flexibility as the job obligations can vary dramatically depending on daily requirements.

Experience in construction techniques, electrical, heating, plumbing, and small engine repair is required. Knowledge of water and propane systems and chainsaw operation is an asset. Duties include general camp cleaning, basic landscaping, preparing firewood, painting, carpentry repairs, and small engine maintenance.

Daily light housekeeping/maid service involves mopping/vacuuming cabin floors, cleaning ,making beds, collecting garbage and sorting recycling refuse in proper bins, polishing kitchen appliances.

The position runs from May to mid October 2024. Candidates must be willing to work long hours and be able to live and work in a remote environment.
