About Us :

We are the Hacault family and have owned and operated Tamarack Island Wilderness Lodge since 2012. We are a family-run resort, located on a beautiful 3-acre island on Lake of the Woods; located 8 miles west of Morson, Ontario.

Job Title and Overview:

We are searching for an exceptional individual to join our team as a housekeeper & server. We are looking for a hard-working individual who will embody our values while maintaining the supreme cleanliness of our cabins. Staff will promote a positive image of the resort and themselves and must be pleasant & friendly.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Cleaning cabins (Making beds, cleaning kitchens, cleaning bathrooms, etc.)

• Keeping the main lodge and main kitchen to resort standards.

• Waitressing, doing dishes, basic cooking, and meal prep.

• Other camp work as assigned (Painting, cleaning up grounds, etc.)

Job Qualifications

• Demonstrate organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

• Must be a self-starter.

• Able to work well independently with little supervision and able to work in a team environment.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Have a positive, friendly, guest-service-focused attitude when interacting with guests.

• In addition to the duties performed, the individual must be able to physically and mentally work away from home, family, and friends for an extended amount of time.
