<div class=”jd-description-text”>Drive in lodge with on site craft brewery, 25 minutes west of Atikokan, is seeking a full time, seasonal cook / chef.
Full time seasonal position – mid May through mid September.
Prepare all meals from set recipes for American Plan drive in fishing lodge guests . We serve breakfast and a 3 course dinner in the lodge and pack a lunch or shore lunch kit for our groups. As noted existing recipes are to be utilized, but we will consider new recipes (to be reviewed and tested with the manager)
Assist in serving occasionally.
Maintain clean, safe workplace – kitchen, equipment, kitchen deck, fridges, freezers etc.
Ordering food & supplies from grocery providers (Sysco, local & regional grocery stores). Procure local ingredients from local farms etc when possible and practical.
Work alongside manager to ensure budgets are met and that waste is minmal
Receive orders and maintain organized storage of all items.
Prep snacks / finger food items for drop in groups
Wage: $25 – $28 / hour based on experience
Free food. Commuting assistance. Use of boats & motors, canoes, kayaks etc. Options for accommodations if required.
