• Anything required by management

Skills required:

• Must be able to work with a team and on your own in a remote wilderness location. This position is on an island.
• Previous cleaning experience an asset, but willing to train
• Must be able to work in Canada
• Room and board available
• All positions require helping in all aspects of running of the island.

Job title: Dock Hand

Job description (duties, responsibilities)

• Maintaining grounds, ie. raking, garbage collection
• Some heavy lifting required
• Help with various labor-intensive tasks, including moving materials in and out of the camp
• Helping guests daily and on check-in and check-out days
• Cleaning fishing boats, minnow tanks, fish cleaning building
• Working in the bait shop
• Season opening and closing of facilities
• Anything required by management

Skills required:

• Boater’s card and boating experience an asset, but will train
• Must be able to work with a team and on your own in a remote wilderness location. This position is on an island.
• Must be able to work in Canada
• Room and board available
• All positions require helping in all aspects of running of the island.

Job title: Lodge cook

Wage: $4300 – $4500 monthly based on experience.

Job description (duties, responsibilities):

• Requires flexibility and initiative to deal with changing daily requirements.
• Cooking all meals and managing food service (includes clean-up and dishes) and make up shore lunch kits
• Managing food inventory, including proper storage and handling of frozen and fresh foods
• Working with food items available and utilizing leftovers
• Season opening and closing of facilities
• Keeping the kitchen spotless and organized
• Preparing and submitted weekly food orders

Skills required:

• Previous experience providing breakfast and supper for a large group of people is
• required
• Candidates must be able to live and work in a remote wilderness setting as part of a team. This is a remote location on an island.
• Room and board available
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
• Requires food handling certification for ability to complete certification
• All positions require helping in all aspects of running of the island.
