Job Posting: Seasonal Cook – 2025
Location: Memquisit Lodge
Position Type: Seasonal (May–October)

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Seasonal Cook to join our team for the 2025 season! If you’re passionate about food, thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment, and can deliver hearty, delicious meals with a touch of creativity, we’d love to hear from you.

Position Details:
• Start Date: Mid-May 2025
• End Date: End of October 2025
• Schedule: 5 days a week, proposed: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook hearty, delicious meals, including mains, soups, salads, and sandwiches.
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment & procedures
• Follow a pre-set menu and ensure all dishes are properly plated and presented.
• Manage food preparation, meal service, and kitchen organization.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Handle weekly cleaning tasks, including fire suppression system and equipment cleaning.
• Receive and organize food deliveries, ensuring proper storage.
• Assist with dishwashing and maintaining overall cleanliness when needed.

What We’re Looking For:
• Experience: Previous kitchen experience is a must.
• Skills: Team player with the ability to work independently and follow direction.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Strong presentation and plating skills.
• Certifications: Food handling certificate is a bonus.
• Transportation: Reliable means of getting to and from work.

Physical Demands:
• Standing for most of your shift.
• Repetitive motions and manual handling of materials.
• Sorting and storing food deliveries.
