2015 NOTO membership renewal packages are heading your way next week. Please renew your support so we can continue to keep you informed and advocate on your behalf. TSSA Broadens Public Consultations and Provides More Specifics on Proposed Changes to Liquid Fuels Handling Code
Hello Everyone:
After attending the Liquid Fuels Advisory Council meeting and participating in a public consultation webinar this week, we have the following information to share with members.
TSSA has added a public consultation meeting in Thunder Bay to provide further details and to encourage dialogue regarding their proposed changes to the Liquid Fuels Handling Code.
In addition to the Sudbury session on May 20th and the Sault Ste. Marie session on May 27th, they will now have a session in Thunder Bay on May 28th at the Best Western NorWester Hotel from 9am to 11am.
For more details on how to register for any of these sessions, visit:
https://www.tssa.org/regulated/fuels/fuelsPublications.aspx
We encourage you to attend to learn more about what these changes may mean for your business and to ask questions.
NOTO attended the webinar yesterday and as a result obtained a copy of the presentation which clearly outlines the particulars of the proposed changes.  At this time I am not exactly clear on how this will impact our members so I would ask that you take a moment to review the presentation and let me know immediately if these changes will impact you in any way.
We have uploaded the presentation to our site and it can be found at the following link.

TSSA has asked us to provide them with feedback and I am reluctant to do that until I hear from our members so please get back to me as soon as you can.  I know that this is a busy time for you but this is important if we need to advocate for changes.
Take care,
Laurie MarcilExecutive Director
