A Message from Hydro One

Hydro One, in collaboration with First Nation partners, is initiating a Class Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Red Lake Transmission Line project.

Hydro One’s proposed project includes a double-circuit, 230-kilovolt transmission line that will run from Dryden to Red Lake, connecting through Ear Falls and includes associated station facilities. The route alternatives have been identified through a review of Indigenous culture, values and land use, technical, socioeconomic and natural environment considerations.

We invite you to drop in at our community open houses in Ear Falls, Red Lake and Dryden, where dinner will be provided while supplies last, and learn more about the project, ask our team questions and provide input. See the notice linked below for details.
