Access to Free Rapid Antigen Tests Extended to December 2022
The Provincial Government has announced that it will extend access to free rapid antigen tests to individuals and businesses until December 31st, 2022. The program was initially set to expire on July 31st, 2022.
Workplaces can continue to apply to the Provincial Antigen Screening Program through the Ontario Together Portal, and order rapid antigen tests through regular distribution channels.
COVID-19 Paid Sick Days Extended to March 31, 2023
The Ontario Government has announced that it will extend COVID-19 paid sick days until March 31st, 2023. Eligible workers will continue to receive up to $200 a day for up to three days if they need to get tested for COVID-19, get vaccinated, self-isolate, or care for a family member who is ill with COVID-19. The Government will continue to reimburse eligible employers for the paid leave days. Click here to learn more.
