Doug is Director of Digital Marketing for Publicitas. In his role, he is developing digital tools and writing strategies that give Canadian tourism partners the ability to grow their businesses through access to the latest technology and advertising solutions. Doug’s team, partnered with MediaMath, a global technology company, have developed the Publicitas Audience Targeting System (ATS).
A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, he is also a CMA certified Digital Marketing Specialist. Doug has previous experience in hotel management with FRHI and Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts in Western Canada. He is a member of the Publicitas Global Digital Marketing Team with offices in Hong Kong, New York, Miami, London and Delhi.
Doug will give you an overview of the digital display media landscape. The session will provide you with information you need to make informed decisions about managing your digital advertising budgets. Publisher direct, Ad networks, and Ad exchanges will be explained in relation to how each performs on behalf of the advertiser. Advancements in the ability to target specific audiences will be explored.
