| New Job Posting Requirements
As you prepare to hire for the season, this is a friendly reminder that employers must now do the following when posting jobs (as per the Employment Standard Act changes):
- Pay Transparency: List expected pay or a salary range
- AI Disclosure: State if they are using AI to screen applicants
- Mandatory Follow-Ups: Notify interviewed candidates of decisions within 45 days
- No Canadian Experience Requirements: You can not ask for Canadian work experience
- Vacancy Clarity: You must specify if the position is for a new or existing role
- Record Keeping: Keep job postings and related records for 3 years
