Using Consumer Insight Research Effectively
Kathryn Forgacs started her career in international marketing in Europe. After immigrating to Canada, she found a new passion in marketing research, working both on the research supplier and research user side. Currently she is Research Manager for the Ontario Tourism Marketing Partnership Corporation, focusing on interpretation and implementation marketing research. She manages all aspects of research for the organization from concept testing to performance evaluation. In 2013, Kathryn was presented the Client-side Researcher Impact and Effectiveness Award from the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association.
Participants will learn about:
– New segmentation research specifically developed for Ontario and the Regional Tourism Organizations (RTO), including introduction to each of the segments,
– Travel motivations and interests of these segments,
– How to effectively reach these segments by understanding their media habits, and
– How to communicate with your target segments, what kind of messaging will evoke their interest.
The information presented at the session will be based on the Consumer Insight Research, a large scale marketing research project designed to provide OTMPC and the RTOs with in-depth information on consumer behavior, motivations and interests.
Important: Please note that the Early Bird Registration ends on October 15, 2014. The registration increases by 50 dollars after that date. Register now and save. Once you register we will send out a concurrent session sign up form which will allow you to choose which sessions you would like to attend.
