Correction for Bear Season Start Date

Hello everyone,

Please be advised that there was an error printed in the 2026 Hunting Regulation Summary related to fall black bear seasons for the following WMUs: 46, 47, 49, 50, 53, 64, 66, 67, 69, and 71–76. The printed version of the summary has a season opening date of September 28. While this error was fixed digitally, printed copies will still have this incorrect date.

The correct black bear season for these WMUs is September 8 to November 30.
