Isolated and centrally located, Silver Water Wheel Lodge is a remote, drive to, American plan lodge with direct access north of Dryden to Lac Seul’s southern main lake basins. From the dock you can see half a dozen different fishing spots where you will likely begin your fishing day. Over 90% of our trophy fish are caught and released within 12 miles of the Lodge. You are welcome to explore the lake with your guide if you choose, but there are no mandatory hour-long boat rides to get to “the good spots”. Lac Seul is the finest trophy walleye fishery in Northwest Ontario and is arguably one of the best in the world. In addition to the terrific walleye fishing, there is also fantastic pike action and an exploding smallmouth bass population.
