Our primary goal is to enhance retail selection within camps, lodges & outfitters. 1896’s heart is in the outdoor categories; Fishing, Hunting, & Camping. Attendance at industry trade shows is an important part of our business. 1896 regularly attends ICAST, SHOT Show, and ATA to ensure any upcoming trends can be understood and communicated back to Canadian dealers. 

Our customers are usually retailers looking to differentiate themselves from the competition. This allows for a specialized sales force to provide exceptional value to their distinguished guests.

Our relationship with NOTO, and its membership is key to success for everyone involved. We believe that the ongoing support of NOTO is a deposit for the future access to our heritage activities.

Our right to fish, hunt and support those who choose to join us, is under fire every day. As urban sprawl continues to take over our wilderness, we will continue to rely on organizations like NOTO more and more.
