Hello Tourism Operators,

Over the past few weeks, we have continued to hear from operators across Northern Ontario who are navigating the uncertainty, disruptions, and financial impacts caused by ongoing wildfire activity. We know this has been an incredibly challenging time for many of you.

We want you to know that Nature and Outdoor Tourism Ontario (NOTO) and Destination Northern Ontario (DNO) are here to support you. We are working together to better understand the full scope of the impacts being felt across the industry so we can continue developing and advocating for the support and resources operators need.

We are asking all tourism operators, that have experienced direct and indirect impacts, to take a few minutes to complete our wildfire impact survey. Your responses will help us:

• Build a clearer picture of the challenges facing our industry;
• Provide evidence-based information when speaking with government and partners about potential support measures;
• Monitor how the situation continues to evolve; and
• Identify additional ways NOTO and DNO can provide support and resources to operators.
