It is no secret that the tourism industry in northern Ontario has faced some tough times over the past few years, so it will come as no surprise that NOTO has been facing similar challenges.

Due to numerous recent internet hacker attacks on NOTO’s Discussion Board, effective immediately any person or organization wishing to make a post in the form of an advertisement, discussion topic or any other form on the noto.ca Discussion Board will have to do so through the administrator.

Our NOTO Board of Directors has seen a “changing of the guards” as a result of the 2012 Annual General Meeting. A number of directors have now retired from their years of service and we have three new members who have been elected.

Three awards were presented to outstanding figures that are well known for their sterling contribution to the furtherance and growth of tourism in the province.
