In an MNR press release circulated on April 16, 2014, it was announced that the 2014 moose tags across the province would be decreased by about 18% this year.

The MNR has developed a draft strategy to ensure that the Fish & Wildlife Special Purpose Account remains sustainable. This draft strategy is now available for public comment. We encourage industry stakeholders to review and submit comment to NOTO and the Environmental Registry by the deadline.

This morning in Sault Ste. Marie, Transport Canada Minister announced that they would be extending the subsidy for the Passenger Rail Service for one more year.
