LEMTA logo

Serving the pleasure boating industry on Lake Erie for more than 60 years, the Lake Erie Marine Trades Association, based in Cleveland, Ohio, is a leading organization serving all boating interests with educational programs and conferences, legislative and regulatory representation, and the production of 5 public boat shows annually.
LEMTA’s trademark event is the Cleveland Boat Show held each January. Marking its 62nd year, the 2020 edition (January 16-20) is undergoing a major expansion with the inclusion of a new FISHING EXPO. It will increase the overall event’s size by nearly 100,000 square feet, ranking it among the largest indoor shows of its kind in the U.S.
Exhibitors in the new FISHING EXPO will reach the nearly 40,000 boaters that annually attend, plus an additional large audience of fishing families expected. There has not been a fishing show in northern Ohio in many years.
It will be a pure fishing event, with exhibit space limited to tackle manufacturers and retailers, charter captains and resorts that cater to anglers. It will boast a variety of crowd-drawing, hands-on experiences including a Trout Pond, Casting Lake, Berkley Aquarium, kayak fishing center, fishing simulator, fly & lure-making center, continuous live seminars on stage, and more.
Additional exhibitor information is available at: www.clevelandboatshow.com or by calling direct to LEMTA president, Michelle Burke at (216) 244-4876, or email michelleburke@lemta.com.
